That's what I thought. She didn't even want a photo of it laying down. I told her she didn't have a say in the matter because I wanted a pic for my blog. :D

No doubt. Y'all can see a couple more on my blog. They're smaller though. http://blog.cdifoto.com.

The Dress even looks better on her. :) Does she make dresses for a living?

 Nice POV on 'The Kiss'.

Is that you in the shot or your second shooter?

Yeah I was impressed. I suggested she make dresses for other brides and she said "hell no that was a pain in the ass!" so I'm gonna assume no she doesn't. hah.

Thanks. That's me in the middle there. The high camera was clamped to a balcony railing and triggered via Skyports. It would fire when I would fire my main camera.

That's impressive and I don't know a damn thing about sewing, but I know that making a wedding dress is very difficult.

 Whoa! I've never heard of that before! Very cool  I've always thought Skyports were for strobes only.

After a quick Google search, did you hack your camera's cable remote to give it a miniphone jack and plug the skyport into the remote and the remote into the camera?

Yeah I don't either but she said it was a big pain in the ass. I'm inclined to believe her.

I bought a dedicated triggering cord. It's the remote plug on one end, a miniphone plug on the other, and a toggle switch in the middle so you can turn communication between the receiver & camera on and off.

You can really appreciate something like this that has been handmade rather than bought at a store and you captured it well.

Bride didn't make it, but her Mom did.... I was amazed at the detail in the upper part that the Mom told me she had done all by hand.

Thanks Jamie. This wedding reminded me of that one we did. Outdoor ceremony, reception under a tent, lots of trees. Except this one had kegs and beer pong. lol.

Thanks Mark. Your shot is way better and that dress is amazing.
