I want to use a green screen to shoot head shots in front of.

1.) Does anyone have any suggestions for a type of background image that I can use to replace the green screen with?

2.) What types of images typically work well for backgrounds?

Thanks!

How were you planning on inserting the background? If you were planning on doing it in post processing with oh say Photoshop than you can use pretty much any picture you want for a background as long as your skills are good enough.

The idea is to shoot the person against a green screen with even lighting and then to take it into Photoshop so that color can be selected and it will remove just the color.

1. I might use the magic wand or magic eraser, not sure yet, though is there anything else in general that I might do to make it look better?

2. I guess what I was looking for was just some general suggestions for what makes a good background image for head shot type of images.

Thanks!

Typically head shots fill the image with the.... head. So there is no need for a background.

If this is something you are serious about for full length shots, look into Green Screen Wizard.
