I purchased two wireless remote flash triggers recently. I have them mounted on two hot shoe flashes and then on two tripods. I did some test pictures with the flashes about 15' apart. I have an Olympus evolt DSLR camera. When I use my camera and take a picture, the flashes trigger but the picture is almost black. unless I kick my iso way up to 800 or 1600 i get no useable picture. what am I doing wrong??
With a radio trigger, usually you lose ETTL. You have to use your flash in manual mode which means you need to work out what the exposure should be, yourself.
all you're doing by bumping up the iso is allowing more ambient light into the scene. as rhys said, you need to switch to manual flash on your strobes and set each one's power seperately.

The flashes I am using cannot be adjusted. I will try the manual mode.
