Hi, this is my first family session and also the first time i use (in the 90% of the shots) off camera flash. Comments and critics are welcomed.

The whites looks blown out to me in all for me except #6 and #8
My favorite though is #4....love the angle and the look of the image...
#6 is a really cute pose....
Nice series...I'm sure the family will be happy with these.....

Thank you faisal, yes they were happy. As for the white in #2 is intentional, in the other photos, on my monitor and based on the histogram, highlights don't seem blown out.

they look fine on my screen. it's calibrated, but's probably way overdue to be recalibrated.
the first one led me to believe she was pretty overweight due to her neck til i got to #4 and realized she wasn't at all. i looove all of the other shots, i think they're extremely lucky to have non traditional family portraits like these. awesome shoot man!
so my suggestions. when women have necks like that, you need to tell them "chin up a little" so it isn't as noticeable..don't tell them why, just say "bring your chin up" and leave it at that. if she doesn't like the way she looks in a picture, they won't be ordering it, even if everyone else looks good.also shooting from a place above them forcing them to look up will help with the chinnage.
other suggestion would be to leave room for a crop. most people order 8x10s and in #3 and #5 they won't have that option.

Nice, good lookin' family too! I don't know if it's just the pictures you post up for us or if it's just Italians in general but they all seem to be dressed in designer clothing. It's so alien to me coming from a t-shirt and jeans culture. I love it. :)

 Beautiful work!
Overexposed angel, love it.
I agree with ^ n1 makes her look huge.
My fav would be n6, because of the relation between the father and daughter. Its a good capture.

Thanks to everyone and to adam for the suggestions. I must say that all the family, in the afternoon, had to go to a wedding, so this is why they look so elegant (also in Italy we dress with jeans and t-shirt :-) ). Thanks again.
