Just saw an ad for this, I hadn't heard anything about it. Anyone interested? I was kinda excited about the DP-1 for about five minutes, until I saw how backwards Sigma is in sensor performance. I wonder if they'll make any major improvements with this one?

Hmm, interesting. The fact that ISO1600 photos, though grainy, don't lose all detail sounds like a great improvement over the DP1. I'm finding myself interested.

it looks just as big as a d40 in that pic. whats the size of it ?

That pic had an adapter and an SLR lens attached, I'm thinking. I haven't found much more on it yet, but the Sigma special site (http://www.sigma-dp.com/DP2/index.html) was interesting. They certainly get some highly skilled writers to do their blurbology, although it doesn't seem to have been proofread.

@ 41mm, the fixed lens sounds appetizing, and I must say I still hanker after a Foevon sensor...
