Ok so here's what I need to know...
I have the Canon 18-55 Kit lens w/IS.
Also a ND Grad Filter and C Polarizer.
If I want to stack both filters....
Which order do they go on the lens? Or does it matter?
you stack your cpl on last so you can turn the filter.

If they are both screw in filters, it doesn't matter. You have to rotate the CPL, but you then have to rotate the ND grad too. Canon makes it even more difficult because the front element of the lens rotates as well.
You will probably get vignetting (the camera will include the sides of the filters in the picture) if you use both at once at wide angle.

Yeah,
I have run into vignetting when double stacking Polarizers on this lens. but seem to be able to avoid it from about 22mm on up. Nothing that can't be dealt with in photoshop if the composition and colour is good enough. It is worth it!
I have already marked the ND Grad with the top position as I ran into that issue once already with both rotating freely.
I'm really wondering if there is any rhyme or reason for which order they go on though.
Would putting the CP on first improve the colour of the sky in a landscape because of interaction with the ND Grad...or am I just being crazy!

Do whatever is convenient for you. I have to recommend rectangular GND filters though. You don't want the filter transition line to determine your composition.
