Samsung Digital Camera not reading memory card afte I put the memory card into my lap

Please help, why my samsung digital camera not reading the memory card anymore after I put the memory card into my laptop to copy pictures. Please help

You might like to try re formating the card IN THE CAMERA.

Did you delete or format the card in your computer? If so, don't do that again. Reformat the card in your camera and it should fix the problem.

I will try that solution just give me a headache trying to figure out why it's not reading in the camera but reading in the computer.

Memory cards have a filesystem on them. Your computer may have written a version of the filesystem that your camera can't understand. If your memory card is for use in your camera, use your camera to format it (which writes out the filesystem).

Is this an elcheapo memory card? If so, spend a few extra dollars and get a kodak or sony brand name card.

Some cameras have problems reading cheap cards. One example of this is the cameras that are used in wildlife trail cams. These are motion activated to take a picture of any type of wild animal that moves in front of the unit. Some of the moultrie brand name trail cams used cheap digital cameras. You can put a SD memory card in the camera and it will work good for a few minutes, then the camera will report a memory card error. But if you use Kodak memory cards, the camera will work good. I know this because I have a moultrie trail camera and can not use cheap cards in it. And a lot of other people that use the same type of trail camera that I do report the same problem.

Besides the quality of the card, format it inside the camera just like what everyone else said.

Yea, if you were using it and then it stopped working, then it's probably toast. Time to buy another one.
