Which Panasonic DMC-ZS1 or 3 ?

Time to get a small, superzoom high pixel general camera.
Been using a Panasonic FZ10 (4meg, 12x) with good results, but need portability and better resolution.

Take mostly outdoor animal & burst mode...but also grandkids.
Both 1 & 3 sound great, and like the S3 LCD for outdoor vision...but will never use the video or HDMI stuff. So the extra ~$100 seems a waste -- I can spend that on an extra battery and a new Photo shop elements.

Anyone have a comparison opinion?

Be sure to compare prices at adorama they have pretty good deals.. sorry not sure what to recommend as far as what camera

If the video clips are a feature you desire, go with the ZS3. If you are not into video clips thean you can save about $100 and go with the ZS1.
