Just saw something on TV about this and thought it seemed a little interesting so figured id share...

Lol. The ancient candid camera attachment. I remember watching a crowd watching an idiot trying to use one. These days one of those would probably get you labelled as a terrorist, a voyeur or a paedophile.

No prank. I remember them well. They were called Candid Angle attachments. Mostly they were in 52mm filter thread. I can't see them advertised any more though - a bit like Pentaxes 52mm stereo adaptor - you could put one on a 52mm filter thread and take two parallel and identical images on one frame.

Amazon's got them from 47th St. Photo. I remember them as being used to covertly take pictures around corners of buildings and staying out of view.
