Here's a Harbor Seal, floating and snoozing at the Cleveland zoo.

That appears to be a harbor seal. A couple differences are that Sea Lions have ear flaps and a more solid colored coat compared to the harbor seal's spotted coat and ear "holes". Other differences are in body size and flippers.

Thanks for starting this topic. Many of the posts in the "Wildlife" topic (mine included) were zoo "captures" so this will be an alternative.

Eye of the Tiger. LOL. Five of the local tiger cubs celebrated their first birthday yesterday at the Mirage Hotel & Casino Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat. Siegfried & Roy brought the cake. I just happened to be on hand. There are currently more photos in my Flickr photostream, including photos of S&R, the cake, the opening of the presents, and even photos of when the cubs were only a few weeks old.

Somebody stole this upset chimpanzee's snack and he threw a fit for a couple minutes. His friend came over and patted him on the head and shoulder, which helped a little.

The Atlanta Botanical Gardens has several frog displays. This horned marsupial frog was being a cooperative subject yesterday.
