Great photos Nick, I really like 1,3,5 and 7. The newly weds must have been happy with all of those photos. :)

Some nice shots Nick; looks like some tricky lighting. The more I learn about people photography (which isn't much) the more I realize that I need to learn more about lighting.

I like the toning you have going on in 2 and 3. Number 1 is great. Are you going to clone the fat tourists out of the background though?

Those are all seriously good Nick... I'd be ecstatic if they were for my wedding (or even if I had shot them!).

Like Don said, no fat tourists!

Thanks everyone!

I wasn't planning on doing any cloning.... but maybe I will.... I'll think about it. ;)

I sent them the link to their online gallery yesterday so we'll see if they like the shots or not. I felt better about the shots a weeks after the wedding. I think I needed some time to refocus after the craziness.

The lighting was real simple.

pic 1 had two flashes one on either side, no modifiers. I really should have spread out the guys more on this shot. I feel like there is a lot that could be tweaked on this shot and I'm not even worried about the fat guy in the background!

pic 2 was a single flash. I should have used a second flash or reflector to fill in some shadows on this one but I like it overall I think.

pic 3 was a single light.

pic 4,5,6,7 are all available light.

Pic 8 is a single light I think. I should have feathered the light a little better so the girl on the left isn't so hot.
