Adobe bridge and photoshop cs4

Got a Weird problem. But enough about that, I have an issue with Adobe bridge and photoshop CS4 

Basically the images look really soft when reviewing them in fill screen on bridge. When I look at them using windows image viewer or anything else they are fine. If I zoom in they look as they should. But previewing them at full size they look soft and makes me think there is a problem with the lens. In photoshop it's the same.
Any ideas? I have a compatible graphics card and hardware acceleration is being used.

Its prolly the way CS4 renders the images. I know when I'm in PP the images will look soft unless I'm viewing them at 25%, 33.33%, 50%, or 100%.

hmmm bit weird thought I think. Dont know why it wouldnt show it how it actually is at full size.

Means I have to resort to crappy windows viewer to see it in its "glory"!

have you tried reinstalling CS4? Can you take a screenshot of the problem?

Sorry r3g. Been away from the Internet today. Don't think there is anything the matter with it. Think that's the way it's supposed to be. Just thought there was maybe an option to set that would sort it out :)

Hi Herc,
Pretty sure that there is no problem. Going to full screen in Bridge means a load of interpolation because you can't go to pixel = pixel as your image is (say) 4000 pixels wide and your screen is probably between 1280 and 1440. That's why the images look good at other mags.

Hey Herc, the issue (non issue in reality) is with the thumbnail setting under preferences... default should be to view for speed (Quick Thumbnail), there is also a High Quality and Convert to high quality when previewed. hth
