Is anybody else experiencing problems with these forum pages not rendering or displaying correctly under Firefox 3.0.7.

At the moment, I'm forced into using the IE7 add-on for Firefox to display these pages in their entirity, but IE is sooo slow compared to Firefox.

Under Firefox, I'm missing all sorts of control icons and options, and can't even start a "new" thread for example. "Thread Tools" and "Display Mode" control option icons take you to exactly the same page under Firefox. Threading won't work, and the "Reply", "Quote" and "complaint" icons aren't showing either.

Or have I inadvertantly set one of my Firefox browsing options incorrectly?

Or am I just a slow learner? :p

Its funny that the page takes about twice as long to load for me with Firefox 3.0.8 than IE7.

Anyway the pages looks just the same for me with 3.0.8 as it does in IE7.

So that must mean an operator error? :p

Out of interest a refresh of the main page takes 9 seconds in IE 7 and 12 seconds with Firefox for me.

I'm on 3.08 with no problems, I checked out your issues and found them to not exist on my PC, best of luck getting this fixed.

Now this is really odd. I had something similar to that last week on this site. I noticed that my "Cookies" would no longer hold with my latest version of FF (3.0.7). I also couldn't post for a few days here and no longer even appeared in the database as a member.

I contacted Jeff personally and he reset everything for me. Even he couldn't explain what had happened. Some kind of hiccup did in fact occur here. I too had to briefly return to IE8 (Yuck!). In disgust, I totally flushed FF and downloaded it again from scratch, loading all my add-ons again. Things are good again with version 3.0.8 of FF. Everything here on this site seems to appear and the cookies are holding.

Yup...

All fixed now. A few other bits 'n' pieces weren't running too smoothly either; it's almost as if some nasty altered a few of my browser settings? Dunno.

Cheers :)

I am having problems with FF3.0.8 also. In the forums I see the headers and footers but the posts are not there.

I started disabling 'add-ons'. When I disabled 'Flashget' add-on the forums seemed to start working.

Have not been to browse through forums for several weeks...

I am having problems with FF3.0.8 also... Rich

Bizarrely, since I've upgraded to FF3.0.8 (from 3.0.7) I haven't had any more problems.

It's as though it's some kinda intermittent glitch? Maybe an uninstall of FF3.0.7 first, and then a fresh download of FF3.0.8 again from scratch, rather than upgrading? Also a registry cleanup?

Dunno.

I thought it was the Add-on 'FlashGot' giving me the problem but I can not duplicate it.

FF 3.0.8 is working properly now...
