Dark Cobra

Presently I'm awaiting the arrival of the new Pany TZ7 primarily because I simply cannot afford an LX3. Prices I'm seeing now for the LX3 are hovering in the five to six hundred dollar range . . . assuming you can even find one, which is astounding to me. Yes, it's a great camera but this is way over-priced. I understand there has been for some time now a backlog of these cameras, but this has gone on for too long. I would love to have a black LX3 but those are the most expensive version.
Does anyone out there have any idea as to when Pany will start producing these again with some degree of quantity in order to lower the absorbent rates now being demanded? Also, I'm hearing rumors of an earlier than normal release of an LX4 this summer. Anyone else hear anything like this? I hear a CMOS sensor and longer telephoto will be added to the LX4.
