Wonder if the DMC-ZS3 review is still going to make 3/31? Was hoping it would be posted earlier in the day. There have been a couple positive reviews so far and if DCResource likes it, I might have to pick one up.

edit- ignore the 15 min. cap on the HD movie feature, that's only for TZ7/ZS3 units sold in Europe.

Since there doesn't seem to be an official ZS3 review thread, I'll post this here.

You could have transcoded the AVCHD files into other formats using VLC 0.9.8 for OSX.

I tried that, and it came out looking horrible...

Well, it's a good thing I have a PS3 in case I decide to purchase the ZS3. As for AVCHD, things should get better on the software front in the future. I think it's here to stay.

Well that sucks. I think I'll just stick to MotionJpeg. Space really isn't an issue for me.
