S1 Low Light Focus Problems

Do you think what Brad says regarding the S1 IS settings will work?
I like the S1 IS and want to buy it but I am put off by the absence its lack of support in low light and a comment that the pictures arent as good as A75.

I took over 2000 pics since purchasing it a month ago, mostly getting used to the camera and trying different settings and combos. I can tell you that this setting will work great, 99.5% of the time. You may want to put the manual focus up to 10 feet and see what pleases you more, but it will focus great set at 3 feet and capture anything clearly that the flash lights up. I hope this helps, as the main complaints all relate to this, so in essence, with these settings, it's a non-issue now.
