Buy and sell forums?

I think that these would be a great addition here, they seem to work fairly well on other forums, and this would be a great place to get FredMiranda variety without having to pay for it. The only other ones I know of are brand specific and their rules are a bit too much for me.

Sorry, but I'd have to disagree on this one.

Buy 'n' sell forums are a recipe for disaster — from the administrator's point of view — and Jeff simply doesn't have the facility, or the manpower to look after that type of forum.

There's already a zillion auction sites out there that are capable of providing whatever level of "usability" you're looking for. Inevitably, an auction forum here would be weighted towards the US market, which would tend to exclude the UK, Western Europe, and South-East Asian readers.
