Tried to stay close to the 200mm end of the Tamron 70-200, also tried the old saying of zoom in, then get closer. Also flipped back and forth between spot AF area and wide to see how things worked so I know. All and all a rather physical game, our girls held on and won. Even more great snapshots / bad photographs at my flickr page LOL!

I take that young lady on the deck, in the last image, was a victim of "recoil", eh?

Nice shots. The refs are practicing the no calls in case they get a shot at the NBA.

LOL it was a interesting night, I think the refs started out 'letting them play" because they didn't want tempers to wind up in the stands or on the court from stopping and starting all the time. Emotions are high as the loser goes home till next fall. The down side is that action started getting to physical. the young lady from the recoil was in the cornerand went up for a jumpshot and got run into as she released. We did get a T foul and she shot 3 for us.

Sean, you definitely picked up on the emotion with that second set. All that was missing were the torches and the rope!

LOL and as we are in farm country we also use pitch forks and hoes, but as we won we didn't need to break out the hardware LOL! we won by 3 points. Of course I missed it on Saturday we went and visited family and didn't go to the boys sectional playoff. They played the same school as our girls did, not very common. Anyway our boys one that one also.....in double overtime!!
