Can't answer your question but as a fellow TZ1 owner I just wondered why do you want TZ1 firmware? what are you trying to improve?

I have a TZ1 that I bought even before the US announced release date. Circuit City apparently got the first batch in the US.

Then I bought one for Younger Daughter and noticed that hers got the focus correct nearly always, in contrast to my TZ1 which often guessed wrong. I bought a second TZ1 a year later on closeout and this one is accurate. It remains my primary camera.

Now I want to tune up that early TZ1 to be the equal of #'s 2 and 3. At least half its pictures are flawless, so I'm hoping later firmware is all it needs to move that up to 90+%.

The frame counter on the later TZ1 is now over 21,000, so it seemed a good idea to get the backup camera ready to put in service again. Just in case.

Aah I see another satisfied owner. Luckilly I must have a later one then too as mine is OK. I'd be inclined to send it back to Panasonic and explain since it was an original fault & you are a satisfied owner of two later cameras. If you ask nicely who knows they might fix it for you for nothing.

Tried to find it for you, but it seems it's unavailable for download.

Over nearly three years, I don't remember ever seeing a reference to it either. It looks like I will have to send the camera to the service facility for update.
