Hello. I have a DMC-FX500 and I was recording some videos yesterday on it. I have a Sandisk 8GB SDHC memory card. I had it in QVGA mode and my camera said I could record 1hr23minutes. I probably tried recording 30-40 minutes, broken up into segments. (I was video taping dancers). But when I looked at the pictures stored on the card later, a lot of my videos were not there. I looked at how much space everything took up, and it was only 1GB. It was like the last video file I recorded kept getting replaced. I mean I understand if I miss one person dancing by maybe accidentally not hitting record, but missing 20 minutes worth of dancers, that seems like a lot. Is there a maximum amount of video that can be recording on a Panasonic DMC-FX500? Thanks!

According to THIS (http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/FX500/FX500A.HTM) review, "You can record continuously up to 2GB. At the highest quality 16:9, that's about 8 minutes, 20 seconds. At 4:3, it gets you 22 minutes 30 seconds. A timer appears on the Panasonic FX500's screen."

Hope this helps. :)
