Do any of these bloody things work with the EF-S lenses?
The kenko I bought that just came in the mail today, is for EF lenses only :( I'm out $90 unless B&H takes it back..

All of the converters that I've seen only have one red dot, no white dot.. for line-up (ef red - ef-s white.)

Read the bottom note under the Features tab of this link.

B&H is usually good about returns, you shouldn't have any problem. You'll foot the postage for shipping back.

Edit: Just looked at the compatibility chart for Canon and Sigma teleconverters and neither of those list EF-S lenses either.

Yes, I know it's posted there and I missed it. It was my fault.

I want to know, if there's anything from 1.4 to 2.0 that "does" work with EF-S?

Thanks.

I just did a quick Google and from what I got there may not be any teleconverters that will fit an EF-S lens. Evidently this is due to the way the rear of the EF-S lens protrudes further out than a non-EF-S lens.

Makes sense to me. This sounds like a perfect opportunity to definitely scratch some rear elements. :(

There was one comment I came across that a guy suggested putting a short extension tube between an EF-S lens and the teleconverter. He evidently may not have tried it. I just attempted to mount an EF-S lens on a Kenko extension tube. Won't fit on that either because of the extra protrusion on the lens.
