GPS for Canon DSLR??

Now that Apple is releasing iPhoto 09 that allows GPS data to be read directly, does anyone know if Canon is planning on releasing a DSLR with the capability? I've got an XSi and love it, so not too keen on buying another new body.

Alternatively, are there any "portable" GPS units that can attach to the camera so that the GPS data is transmitted with the rest of the EXIF data?
