I've tried to convert short movies into my T1 for viewing but it doesn't work.
I can't find a proper software that can convert into a file that my T1 can handle.
Do anyone know what program to use and which parameters (bps, resolution, sound, filename and more) that must be in T1-format?

This is the first time I've been on a web site forum. Hope I am doing this correctly. Do you own the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1? I had a Nikon Cool Pix 3200 which I like a lot. I used it for family, travel and scenery. When I was in Italy this summer, I saw someone using the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1. I thought it was very cool..the large LCD screen and the compact size and sleekness. So I gave the Nikon to my collage age son (he broke his Nikon 3100) with the thought of buying the Sony T-1. When I went to buy it at Circuit City the sales clerk told me it was a bad choice....Poor quality pixs is what he said. So I decided to research and am sceptical about buying it. Seems the poor range of the flash, hard to view LCD in poor light or in the bright sun light, and red eye seem to be significant problems. So now I'm thinking that maybe I should just buy the Nikon 5400 since I am familiar with it and likes it. But I really like Sony....What to do????

Hi and welcome to the world of web forums. I'm sure you'll enjoy using this one particularly but there are lots of them "out there" these days!
Generally speaking it's a good idea to stick with the "theme" of the thread, simply because people will pick up on the title and will want to see what the different views are about the issue being raised.
To find discussion about something else can be confusing.
In this case, the theme is about movies and the T1 but you're asking a perfectly valid question about the camera in general and it deserves a thread on it's own! There's a separate "section" in the forum for Canon cameras and it probably ought to go there: that way, you'll get the sort of response you need from people who've used it and who might not see it tucked away in a thread about video. Makes sense, really.
Having said that, I'm guilty of doing the same thing from time to time so perhaps I'm not the best one to say anything about it :) :o
If I was you, I'd re-post your question into a new thread in the Canon section.
Hope that helps.
