Hi all. Is the ONLY way to access ISO 3200 on the FZ8 to use the special scene mode (SCN mode) with the theater/dance icon?

I ask because I was looking at some pics taken at ISO 3200, and the EXIF data on the photos said "Normal" program mode (P mode). I used to have the FZ8, and coulda' sworn you absolutely didn't have access to ISO 3200 on P mode. (I'm assuming it's a firmware bug that reports the EXIF data that way...)

Unless, does Beginner mode (or whatever the Heart icon mode is) go up that high on its own?

Thanks.

I'm guessing your first assumption is correct.

I had a look at Jeff's review HERE (http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/panasonic/dmc_fz8-review/) and he says in part:There's also a high sensitivity mode, which boosts the ISO to 3200 for some really lousy looking pictures (http://www.dcresource.com/forums/../reviews/panasonic/dmc_fz8-review/P1000264.JPG). Don't use this mode.....Is there any particularly pressing need for you to use ISO3200, which we know is gonna be absolutely riddled with noise and/or smoothing artefacts (as per the linked image).

Cheers :)
