Since my Casio Exilim S600 recently broke :( (loved the nature pics it would take or just in general very good quality pics or so I think , but then I'm just a novice lol ) I started looking for another great point and shoot camera in up to $200 price range and today I was in Circuit City and tried out all diffrent ones and I think I have my heart set on a Sony Cybershot W150 (love the burst mode for quick picture after picture) but since my friend got a Kodak EasyShare M1033 she told me to also consider that one to. So my question is which one is better and which one would you recommend Sony Cybershot W150 or Kodak EasyShare M1033? Also if you would like you can recommend any other great point and shoot cameras for under $200

We really don't know much about what kind of photos you take, that could make a difference. However, generally speaking the Sony W-150 or even the W-170 would be a much better camera that your friend's Kodak M1033. You might also take a look at the new Canon A-2000.

That might help you narrow it down. But in my opinion, you can't go wrong with any camera from the Canon Powershot SD lineup.

I agree with the remarks already posted. The alternative to the Sony W150 that I would offer is the Canon SD770 IS. Not necessarily because it's any better than the Sony, just a slightly different flavor. Speaking of flavors, entirely different type of camera than these slim ultracompacts, but you can also find SLR-like models by Fujifilm and Kodak for right at $200.

I don't recommend Circuit City as they are hopelessly overpriced even when on sale. Go through Amazon, which also shows the top sellers, and has reviews.

I've read some pretty good reviews of the Kodak M1033.
