D90 Remote cable

Does the Nikon MC-DC1 that is compatible w/ the D80 work with the D90? Or do I have to buy the MCDC2 Remote release cable? :confused: Also does the D80 wireless remote work with the D90? I have both, but prefer the wired remote.

Well there isn't a "preferring" one over the other, because they don't do the same thing. They each have their own different abilities. That's why I had both until I got the D300, then I went with the Phottix radio setup Rooz pointed me too, and it's great.

As for working with the D90...I can't confirm that...anyone?

The wireless remote will work with the D90. The owners manual says the D90 uses the MC-DC2, though.
