I have read thru tons of info in this forum, and a big Thanks! to all for the great help I got out of this site.
I have narrowed my choices down to:
Canon SX10 IS and Panasonic FZ28k
Both cameras seem to fit my wife's needs of being more advanced than the simple cameras we've always used, along with all of the great features.
Now I've read on another post that the Panasonic has a quick response time for taking action shots, and I was curious if anyone knew if the Canon was equally responsive.
This will be the deciding factor for me as we have twin 15mo boys that are forever creating picture worthy situations, needless to say.... and our current Canon digital Elph is simply not fast enough to capture the great moments.

All opinions are welcome regarding the two camera's as it would be helpful to me.
Thanks so much!

Ronnus-

I looked carefuly at both the Canon SX-10 and the Panasonic FZ-28. After a good deal of research, at least for me, the FZ-28 was the beter choice. To maintain IQ the Canon must be held to ISO settings, ideally, below 200.
