Okay, I scored tickets to the Super Bowl and I am looking for a good camera to carry with me. I would be taking pictures from the seats and around the stadium, zoom is important, but so is pic quality. I would like to find one that is easy to carry, i.e. slide in pocket. I have a few models in mind, see below, but can't seem to make up my mind. Any inputs from you pros is appreciated.

Budget <$400

Size - Something that may fit in pocket, slightly bulky is okay.

Features

How many megapixels will suffice for you? at least 8

* What optical zoom will you need? The more the better.

* How important is “image quality” to you? 9

General Usage

* What will you generally use the camera for? Carry with me for pics at sporting events, concerts, fishing, night on town.

* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not? maybe

Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos? 50/50

Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos? some

Miscellaneous

Are there particular brands you like or hate? Like Sony

Are there particular models you already have in mind?

Sony T500, DSC-W170, DSC-H10
Canon SD890, SD990
Panasonic DMZ-TZ5
Nikon S550, 610

TZ-5 slam dunk. You have the light (it's in Arizona isn't it?) so you can take full advantage of the 10x. Plus it's a really neat camera anyway...

The Canons you list don't have a lot of zoom, and the Nikons are only a bit longer but do not have optical image stabilization. Check the Canon SX10 or SX110. It's a bit bulky for a pants pocket.

A superzoom would work for the Super Bowl, but not ideal at a concert or night out on the town. For your pocket camera list I would add the Fuji F100fd -
