sub $350 Camara for fast action.

Can someone recommend a good camera under $350 that can take action shots? I need one that doesn't take too long after clicking. I usually take pictures of horses jumping and miss the jump by a couple of strides. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe that the Panasonic FZ-28 would be up to your challenge. Check it out, please, it is a very impressive camera. Here is a sample photo. 'Sorry no horse photos, that is not my thing.

1. What camera are you using now?
2. Are you using a tripod/monopod?
3. Are you pre-focusing your shots?
