I just wanted to see how this would work. I selected the part of the image I wanted to save then inverted it and then applied the Orton effect. This is what I got. I need to find the right image and I think it might look good.

I used this plug in. It leaves a water mark on the trial but you can crop it out. Here is the link. http://www.mediachance.com/plugins/redynamix.html There are lots of different effects you can add. Something else to play with.

Hey, I'm liking this experimental aspect to the forum. Way to go, dudes! :D
Nice to see some folks can step away from traditional efforts, but at the same time, do not lose sight of doing it in the "correct" way.
Personally, I revel in turning out a terrific piece of work ... with just the camera. No fancy add-ons ... just a well-timed, well-exposed, well-framed item of interest. Gosh, one day it will happen.

While I am waiting I guess I will keep playing around. It may be a long wait.

While your learning and trying new things frank keep those wildlife and wetlands shots comming, I like to look at them, and it gives me ideas on how to 'see' shots.
