Ive heard that Optical IS is better than Digital IS. I just found out that my FujiFilm F100fd has Digital. So im guessing i might return it before the 14-day return policy and get one that has Optical. The fujiFilm is great but the Sony Cybershot impresses me.

Where did you read it only had digital stabilisation ?
From the press release..
Total protection from blurred pictures
The FinePix F100fd features Fujifilm’s Dual Image Stabilisation mode, which combines a mechanically stabilised Super CCD sensor with high ISO sensitivities for total anti-blur protection. The combination of these technologies reduces the blurring effect of both hand-shake and subject movement even further to provide the highest quality digital pictures yet, with sharp, clean and clear results no matter what the shooting conditions.
While technically not optical stabilisation ( where an optical element of the lens "floats" ) it is a valid and normal antishake found in dozens of cameras.
In other words, the camera detects shake and moves the sensor to compensate, used in both compacts and dslrs.

Okay so it has both Optical and Digital. Im new to all this Digital camera tech.

Digital stabilization raises the ISO to allow a shorter shutter speed, to minmize blur caused by camera movement. To a minor degree it will help with blur caused by the moving subject. Any time the camera raises the ISO, which is 1/2 of what happens with "dual stabilization", it will result in grainy photos. It is not a desirable feature.
Optical stabilization either moves the lens or the sensor to compensate for camera movement. It does not help with subject movement.
