Quick help for a beginner: transferring image from camera to pc

I use my digital camera (Kodak EasyShare C530) so infrequently that I don't remember how to do basic functions -- like transferring the pictures from the camera to my pc (Dell 3000 with XP and the EasyShare software installed). I think once I can do that I can figure out how to edit and save.

Would some kind soul remind me? Thanks.

Connect the UBB cable to the camera then to the computer ..... then turn on the camera.

Even more simple, use an inexpensive chip reader. Its faster and no camera cable hook-up is required.
