Hi all,
would just like some recommendations for a tripod...budget of about £100 delivered to uk. I'm really not sure where to start!
Thanks everyone

I have the Slik Pro 700DX, I went to the shop and compared it to the Manrotto offerings and the Slik seemed much more sturdy to me for about 2/3 of the price.
This one is better than mine and fits your brief nicely:-

Make sure that you get a quick release plate for whichever tripod you buy (the Silk tripod above has one standard). Screwing and unscrewing the camera every 5 minutes is a pain in the ..!

Make sure it is rated for the weight of you camera, lense, and flash.
