Hello, I had my dx7590 for a few years now. I purchased it new. I have been very pleased with it and recently plan to get accessory lenses for it. Before I go with this, I was thinking about getting something else. So far the p880 seems like a really fun camera, full manual and I am curious if I would be able to attach macro lens's or telephoto lenses with out having any problems. Any input on the dx7590+lens's or p880 is all I ask. Thanks.

Ebay may be the last place you'll find a 44.2mm to 55mm lens adatper for the DX/Z7590. If it's plastic I'd not hang a lens from it. I had the P850 and P880. Sent the P850 back it just did not perform like the DX/Z7590. I've bought one each of the Z712is wifes, Z812is and Z1012is. Outstanding little point and shoot rigs. Low light they blow the DX/Z7590 and P880 out of the water. The IS on these rigs performs better then the IS on the 850. Me I'd not buy the P880.

They can be bought from

new and maybe a reconditioned unit that caries a new camera warranty

This is the location I bought my wifes Z712is, I've not seen a Z812is or Z1012is at this site.
