Seems like every time I get a new lens my cat is hanging out around me so she always ends up being my first test subject. Here are all the shots I could find. I'm missing the 85mm1.8 shot but maybe I'll do one tonight.

All shot wide open.

The 35 really does produce fantastic results.

I'd say 35 first, 300, 200, 85, 50, P50. IMHO.

Oh, ya I rented it for a weekend once. :D It's a great lens but way too big for me. I'll leave glass like that for CW to lug around. ;)

Here is my list... 35mm, 85mm, 50mm, 300mm, P50, 200mm. that doesn't mean I like my 200mm less then the P50. I'm just judging from the shots. One thing to keep in mind though is the lighting in all of them are quite different and some of the shots were taking at ISO 3200 and some at ISO 200, like the 35mm shot.

nick, i'm gonna share a theory of mine with you....before it's too late.

the book of revelations speaks of what most people refer to as the antichrist. it's a beast with 7 heads. it is in the form of a leopard, has the mouth of a lion, and the feet of a bear. that's two out of three from the cat family. proof that cats are evil.

p.s. i don't recommend owning a bear either.

Does revelations say anything about the antichrist constantly lickin' itself?

LOL, I have no doubt that my cat is evil! The only time she doesn't look at me like she would like to eat my soul is when she wants me to feed her fancy feast. :D

Every time I go to pet her she cringes. Not like she's afraid I'm going to hit her but more like she thinks I'm disgusting and she doesn't want me to touch her, but she always likes being close to us. She likes my camera stuff too so she can't be all that bad.

That's because cats think they're above humans. Most of the time they're right.
