So, Jeff, you need to let us know how you are making the new thumbnails -- they look great, although they could use some sharpening.

I love the fact that the moire patterns in the bricks of the church are completely gone. I downloaded the original photo of the church, and I shrank it to 800 x 600 in Paint Shop Pro (Photoshop won't run on my old operating system, Windows 2000), and the photo still showed some mild moire patterns in the bricks.

Which program are you using? And how were you doing it before that the thumbnails looked so awful?

I'm using Fireworks CS4 to batch resize now. I don't want to sharpen anything... trying to keep them as "Raw" as possible.

Still use Photopage, an ancient Mac app, to generate the thumbnail table.
