Hello everyone.

I have updated from a d40 to the D90, and I think it's a night and day difference.

The pictures in low light situations don't even compare, and I love how accessible all my features are just by button rather than searching through the menus.

Questions I have:
1)How much easier is HDR with this camera? Is there a menu option to take 3 pictures with different exposures?
2)Sensor cleaning: Should I leave this option on all the time? I hear the little sound it makes when it is "cleaning" the sensor. I just wasn't sure if the more i turn this thing on and off, the more likely the cleaner breaks.

What you want to look up in your manual is how to do exposure bracketing, using the second word as the key word in the index.

Basically, you have a bracketing button. You press it and select use the rear command dial to select 2 or 3 shots (not a wide range, but 3 is adequate). Then using the front command dial (button still pressed) set the exposure difference (.3ev to 2ev) I'd probably used 2ev. That way, you'll get 4 stops of range. Set the camera to shoot continuously. Put it on a tripod (my recommendation, but you don't have to). When you release the shutter with your cheap IR remote (get one), let it take all three shots in rapid sequence. Then you will have all the data your need for your HDR.
