Well, i had to get another 40D after the other one's top lcd crapped out.
This one seems absolutely fine, to my relief, but the bad luck strikes again.
The focus screen is wonky!!! If i line up a horizon with the horizontal 3 points it is skewed. If i use the top and bottom edges of the screen to line up, its fine, and shooting a box on a flat table is fine. So it's not the sensor that is wonky.
What are my options for the focus screen. I've tried opening the latch and wiggling it then closing it again, but it seems like the actual print on the glass is skewed, or could it be the holder.
Would any of this bother anyone else, or am i being ultra picky?
