B&W home printing advice

Hi all,

I have an Epson all-in-one printer (Epson Stylus DX9400F) and I'd like to print some black and white photos (A4 size).

Could anyone advise me which Epson paper is best to purchase? Is Matte paper better for this kind of printing?

Also, do I need to get a black matte cartridge?
