I just noticed the current price of memory cards....
Back in July of 2005 I bought my 8mp XT. At the same time I spent $115 on a 1GB memory card for it.
Today - just about 3 years later I can buy the same 1GB card for under $7 and $90 would get me a 32GB card.
Actually, all these people that come on the forum to debate bulk storage drives would probably be much better off instead of investing $250 in a 200gb portable bulk storage unit, spending $270 on 96GB of memory cards on the basis that these bulk drives seem to fail rather often and rather spectacularly.
