Crazy problem - card or camera??

I have a Canon Rebel XT and am using a SanDisk 512 CF card. I've used it for a year or more and this week all of a sudden I'm having a strange problem. Now, rather than putting all photos into one (or a few) folders, I get each photo in its own individual folder. It is very annoying and I can't seem to figure out if it is a setting I somehow set or what is happening!! Thanks for any help!

I can't think of any reason a camera would put a single image in its own folder - unless you had it set for date format folders and you only took one shot per day...

I would check the file/folder settings first, then try another card for the heck of it.

Try formatting the card in a card reader - FAT(16)/full format.
