A few sunset shots from earlier today

Went out to Robert Moses Park for the first time and got "shutter happy"

more than the sunset and the bridge...those clouds are what interest me most....

though in the second and third shot I can see a bright outline over the horizon (I suppose you sharpened it a little too much)....

Really cool clouds, although the darkness in the left side of the third image is a bit distracting.

Hi all,

thanks for the feedback and the suggestions for improvement - I'll see what I can do about it.

Michael, regarding the variation of the photo from light to dark...couldn't really help it. The causeway runs basically north-south, the sun was already below the horizon in the east and the west was getting dark fast. I guess if I had taken the shot five minutes earlier, it would have turned out better. Oh well - at least it was a good scouting mission for next time! I now have a better idea of where I can set up shop.
