Thankfully; Vegas doesn't allow Uncle Bob's. They got the full package from the Chapel photographer so I was happy to take some no-pressure supplemental shots afterward.

I haven't gotten a chance to edit them so this is straight from the camera. Oops on the ISO 1600  but it still seems suitable enough. Sigh; how quickly one forgets the basics.

would like to see more shots...though ISO1600...the noise must be crazy....(unless you own a 50D or something ;) )

I'm processing the rest this weekend. Will post a few more but it's nothing special, just more people shots (ie: snapshots; not post-worthy).

I had all of 5 minutes with the couple for these "romantic creations". Above is the best of the 5 or 6 I was allowed.

That's OK, the main objective was probably accomplished above. Just to give my bro something they could frame to supplement the boring, stiff, posed, in-chapel, stand-up shots.

RE My 30D at ISO 1600: In well exposed sunlight shooting high ISO isn't a huge drawback - though not what I'd want to do intentionally. I'll probably print & frame this in 11x14 for them. I'm not opposed to some noise, just so it's not sandpaper-like.

Although this is just the small-JPG (http://newport.smugmug.com/photos/398450213_jqCFf-X3.jpg), it shows pretty low noise for ISO 1600. The RAW will be a bit better.

50D - I wish! Actually; I plan to sell a body and a few lenses for either the 50D or 5D Mk II. Not that I plan to do dimly lit events often - but usable ISO 3200, FF, dynamic range, video through a 35L, weather proofing, all that sounds tempting galore! :p
