zoom range test shots?

Jeff,
You have had the zoom range test shots in some of the reviews but how about the idea of including them in all of your reviews? Using a standard scene with a simulated dinner table or something similar would be highly recommended for the wide end test shots :rolleyes:
A maximum digital zoom test picture would also be appreciated for evaluating the IQ degradation at the highest digital zoom level.

Any wide angle shot will not mean much unless you know the camera-subject distance, so just having the image won't help you determine the coverage. Better to go the the Tamron webpage that has a focal length comparison tool.

If you are considering using digital zoom a lot, you should buy a ultrazoom instead. All digital zooms are bad.
