Wow, those look good. That's certainly the biggest advance in DSLR technology IMO.

Whats up with the banding I see in the ISO 12800 shot?
You can see it in the trunk lid of the Mercedes.

I noticed this same banding on the 40D's ISO 3200 shot in Jeff's review:
Easily viewable in the sky:

There is a distinct horizontal pattern to the noise, and its kind of distracting.
I will say, however, that the ISO6400 shots don't look too bad. With some post processing, they could be quite usable.
I cant remember how my D300 is at ISO6400 because I never shoot that high.

Yeah , bandind seems to be a problem at 12800 , but i doubt many would use this level of ISO , i'm just happy with the ISO 6400 results .

There is banding on the 6400 shots as well:(
Is it visible on the 3200 shots. Not really blowing my mind with the ISO detail.
Is it any better if you shoot in RAW?:confused:

I haven't tried Raw yet , i'll let you know.
