Which Memory Card for Fuji S9000?

Hi all,
New here and am buying a S9000 from a very good friend of mine and was wondering what memory card performs the best/fastest in this camera?

I'd say an 80x Compact Flash card (like the Lexar Platinum II series) would do you fine. I'm not sure the write speed capability of the S9000 would make it worthwhile to get a faster card.

Do not, DO NOT get xD cards - they're slow, expensive (moreso than Compact Flash cards) and based on what Olympus has been shipping some of their compact cameras with these days (microSD adapters) they're on their way out as a memory card format.
