So, I am really serious about starting some online photography courses. As I have been doing some research on which courses to take, I have heard good and bad things almost every course I have researched. I was wondering if anyone here had some input about some good courses to take. I am looking for an all around photography course, which will touch on everything from lighting to camera technology, to post processing and even the business side of photography. I was also hoping to complete a program that will give me some sort of credential or at least have completed a program with some reputable "weight." Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

PS. I have been leaning toward The New York Institute of Photography, but have heard from a few sources that once they get your money, the instructors or very hard to get a hold of.

Your local community college would be an ideal place to start. But since you're talking online, might I suggest TIPS FROM THE TOP FLOOR (http://www.tipsfromthetopfloor.com/)? They have podcasts, contests and are very knowledgeable in the field of digital photography. And you get some really fun assignments to experiment with.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out. The community college is a no go as I am an English speaking (conversational Chinese only) Canadian living in Taiwan.:p
