I just downloaded the newest version of Picasa. I have been using Picasa 2 for about 6 months and have no issues with it. Picasa 3 beta adds some basic touch-up options, better output formats (slideshows w/ music) and also adds the ability to add text to pictures, which I am sure will lend many laughs to the pictures. They also add RAW image handling. Not very sophisticated, but it atleast can read them pretty well.
Just thought some of you would like to know. By the way, when you download it, it replaces Picasa 2. It removes the old program from your computer.
