noise in movie

Hi

I got the cannon xl2 about a week ago and been doing test shooting..
I seem to get alot of noise in my movie i dont see it in the view finder but when i convert it to a avi and play it back theres alot of noise..
The camera power dail is on A, 60i shutter 8
Any help would be great..

The Canon XL2 is a camcorder. This is a digital still camera forum. While you might get an answer here you're probably better off looking in a video camera forum.
