I was wondering what people are doing with their videos they capture with an SD200, and how? Not sure if you can save it to the computer, and wanted to know if video can be put onto cd/dvd, for playing on TV? Thanks for any thoughts.

You will have so much fun taking video. I started to take short videos (w/ digicam) 4 years ago with the birth of our 1st child. I have captured so many cute as well as important moments like her first crawl...as far as difficulty goes, it's very easy! You can dowload it to your computer much like pictures. The only difference is that you will need to download the Winamp program to view the videos. And yes, you can either save it to your CDs or DVDs....most DVD players will have no problem viewing them. As far as video quality goes, I'm ising the 640x480 @ 15 bps on my Canon SD200. Btw, if this is your 1st time shooting videos w. a digicam, you couldn't have picked a better one! It even lets you trim the beginning or the end of the clips - very cool! Have Fun!

You can save it onto to your hard drive as an AVI file play it in one of the players, or convert it into a DVD/VCD or play it off your SD200/300

All in all you can do whatever you like :)

Love my SD300 :D
